Education & Training

Nagendra Hegde has undergone rigorous training in the profound disciplines of Yoga, Vedanta, and the Vedas through the traditional Gurukula system, spending seven years at the renowned Veda Vijnana Gurukulam. As an Acharya (teacher), he not only mastered these ancient teachings but also had the privilege of teaching within the same esteemed institution.
Complementing his traditional education, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Yoga and Consciousness and a Master’s degree (Vidwat) in Sanskrit, reflecting both scholarly depth and a strong academic foundation in Indian philosophy and spiritual sciences.

Teaching Experience

Nagendra’s passion for teaching has extended well beyond the Gurukulam. He has shared his knowledge of Yoga and Sanskrit at esteemed institutions across India and abroad, including Vizag, Chaitanya School in Bangalore, and the internationally recognized Om Yoga and Wellness Hub in Vietnam.

His commitment to the study of Indian Logic (Tarka Shastra) earned him the prestigious Manorama Award. Additionally, his eloquence in Sanskrit was honored at the state level, where he secured second place in the esteemed Shalaka Pareeksha Sanskrit speech competition.

Yoga Training & Philosophy

Nagendra Hegde trains students in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Vinyasa Yoga, incorporating Kriyas, Pranayama, and other essential yogic practices into both 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training courses. His unique approach blends traditional wisdom with modern methodologies, creating a deeply enriching and authentic experience for all on the path of Yoga and Vedanta.
